Depart Edinburgh on the 30th of December to enjoy a Highland Hogmanay adventure! With a full day on the Isle of Skye plus a bonfire and fireworks on Hogmanay, it's the perfect way to welcome 2012!

Friday 30th December - Leaving Edinburgh at 8.30 a.m. we head straight for the Highlands. First stop is Stirling and Braveheart Country (
Hogmanay - A full and active day round the Isle of Skye, with lots of walks and time to take in the magic. Experience the Cuillin Mountains, the Old Man of Storr (an incredible Jurassic pillar) and hear some amazing legends, visit the fascinating Kilt Rock, and take in the panoramas from the Quirang. Tonight we'll enjoy drinks around the bonfire with fireworks to welcome in the New Year ... it will be a night to remember (or not!?).
New Years Day - After waking up to a champers breakfast, we'll blow away the cobwebs with some walks in the local area and enjoy a great seafood boat trip on Loch Carron. Great views, great company and a touch of winter magic make the perfect New Years Day in the Highlands. This afternoon we'll enjoy a sumptuous New Years Day Dinner (eat too much, drink too much!) followed by a bit of fun and games!
Monday 2nd January -Our first stop is to take in views of Eilean Donan Castle (where Highlander was filmed). We'll try a spot of monster hunting on Loch Ness and perhaps a wee swim in New Year (if you dare!). Then lunch and an emotional visit to Culloden battlefield, where the Jacobites had their last stand. Our final stop is a tranquil forest walk through the beautiful Hermitage Forest. Finally, home to
