Gearrannan blackhouse
Set nestling in amongst a renovated blackhouse village, we use their group accommodation exclusively for our tours. With metre thick stone walls and thatched roofs yet with all the mod con's you'd expect, it's truly a superb experience for anyone coming to Scotland.
Within the village there is a museum with tweed weaving demonstrations, shop and loads of information about how people once lived and worked in the area.
The village is next to a little pebble bay with cliffs rising either side that make a perfect spot to watch the sunset over the Atlantic Ocean.
With exclusive use for our tours, we stay here for two nights on our 6 day Hebridean and 10 day Island Hopper tours, and it becomes home!
